Erosion & Falling RocksAs Laniakea suffers seasonal and progressive erosion, the rock pile next to the road is collapsing, causing dangerous conditions. Not only does the erosion of the beach and falling rocks equate to a loss of habitat for the threatened sea turtles, it also creates dangerous conditions for visitors and is detrimental to the adjacent highway. The west side of Laniakea erodes in the summer and the exposed rocks are extremely slippery. < Traffic Open Letter to NOAA >
